I definitely would not go so far as to state that there is no and will be no molestation of children by a priest. But I think that at least for now the systemic abuse has been stopped and the Church leadership is on notice that it will not be allowed to occur anymore.

Also the Church was badly financially hurt by the settlements, I think they see it is in their own best interest now not to try to cover it up anymore. The big payouts and international media coverage has also let the victims know that they can win against the Church.

If I was a Priest there is no way I would even ever allow myself to be in a room alone with a child at this point, I would be too scared of a false accusation by someone looking for money.
