You know, I also believe that young people should be called upon to take more responsibility for their actions, which is something that we cannot expect them to do unless they are informed of their choices and options, and how their own reproductive system functions.

Just teaching our teenagers to keep it in their trousers or face the consequences falls far short of that.

Whatever someone sees as ‘moral’ behavior is not even relevant when telling a girl what can happen and what she can do about it. There’s still room for a discussion of morality, but not necessarily as part of the health discussion.
