That isn’t the first time Trump’s been associated with a military picture that wasn’t properly vetted. Back in July Trumps campaign put up a composite image which featured a sub-image of soldiers marching. Only they were WWII reenactors, not soldiers. And worse, the unit they were portraying was the 1st SS Panzer Division.

Donald Trump’s campaign needs to vet its images better.

I tend not to get worked up by campaigns screwing up usage of stock images. They all screw up.
And, let’s face it, WWII German helmets look very similar the helmets US troops have worn for nearly three and a half decades. So, you can kind of understand the mistake not jumping out at whoever looked at to approve it.

Now, simply re-tweeting images just ain’t smart to me. I mean, who the hell takes strangers for granted on social media??
