I wouldn’t put Palin anywhere near He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. She’s a demogogue and not qualified for national office, but no actively malicious. The way I see it, she was handed a golden ticket to money and fame when McCain chose her as his VIP, and she decided to take it for all it was worth.
