To be fair, Donny may not be a Putin puppet but instead a useful idiot whose habitual watching of Faux has him completely convinced that there’s nothing to the whole Russia business because Lumpy and Bill’O insisted that it was all a “hoax” concocted by Fusion GPS.

Considering the reports that the man can’t seem to follow a briefing without colorful pictures and must have it all condensed down to a few minutes or he loses interest, it’s entirely plausible that we have a man whose descent into Alzheimer’s makes it easier for him to follow the graphics on the TV than the dense IC reports showing just how badly Russia fucked with our elections.

My mother had Alzheimer’s; once she latched onto a belief, it was impossible to use reason to dissuade her. The only time she actually changed her mind was when she witnessed something with her own eyes.
