re: #107 dangerman

i can easily not be concerned about an artist’s private life separate from their work— musician, actor, writer whatever

once i’m clued into something it’s very hard to keep them separate and, like you it can beomce all or nothing

i cant listen to cosby any more
i can still watch mad max and lethal weapon movies. i think of that mel gibson as a different person than after he revealed hisself
i might watch the usual suspects - nothing else spacey

For an actor I can manage — as much as I despise Susan Sarandon, I don’t see “her” in any of her performances. Same for Sean Penn, or Mel Gibson, or Jon Voight.

But for a comedian who writes their own material? NO NO NO. Bill Cosby, Louie CK, Woody Allen portray themselves and I can’t not see their persons in their characters. It’s too gross.
