I actually hope that Romney gets the nomination. People like Cain, Bachmann, and Palin are such loose cannons that I can honestly seen them running third party, sending enough torpedoes at the GOP to make it clear they will destroy the party if their candidates don’t win the primary.

Then the party will have a choice to make about what is important to it. I would really hate to see the GOP suffer the fate of Canada’s Conservatives in the early 1990’s, who suffered a major schism and were out of power for 15 years before they could finally come together again.
