Wasn’t there a case not long ago where a woman fired a warning shot to try to stop her violent husband and she went to prison? She didn’t even hit anyone, and the history of domestic violence in the home wasn’t considered a just reason. I think the husband was actually in the home and wasn’t supposed to be. I wish I could remember where it happened.
