True. But at the same time, legal and electoral precedents last longer and take more effort to overturn than simply bloviating about how “unfair” it is that a state allows mail-in ballots during a crisis.

I would feel better if our electoral system were more robust and less vulnerable to interference and manipulation. We have had every chance to fix it since the 2000 debacle but have lacked the political will to do so.
