It’s a United States Congressional Resolution, not something in any way binding. Are we saying that one side or the other is so weak that they can’t handle the truth?

It is a strongly worded letter on better stationary.

Okay then, don’t do it, why is not passing it such a problem?

Do you see the confusion? Is this some sort of lobby thing? We need Turkey to be our buddy in the area more than we need to make nice to Armenian Americans, or am I missing something?

See why I am confused? To be nice to some Armenians we risk screwing up our bases in Turkey, but at the same time, by not passing the resolution we risk…what exactly?

It would be like reminding the British about the Potato Famine every couple years, only the Turks take it a lot harder.
