MSNBC reporting that the oil well from the Deepwater Horizon could be fracturing beneath the BOP…under the sea floor. They’re saying that’s why they shut down the “top kill” so quickly…as some feared, it may have compromised the bore hole below the surface…so they don’t have much choice except to let it flow out the top of the BOP and they won’t be able to recover much more than that for fear the downward pressure could cause it to blow out through the seabed.

I’ll wait for our local BP apologist to rationalize that away.
