Here is my first FTD experience. I usually send flowers from 800flowers or Proflowers but I thought I would try something new.

Saturday:
My mom’s birthday was on Saturday. I ordered flowers from FTD and they were supposed to deliver them on Saturday. She got a call in the morning that they would be there later in the afternoon. I got an email from FTD saying they were delivered. I called my mom to wish her a happy birthday and asked her how she liked the flowers. She said ‘What flowers?’ Nobody showed up. My wife called them and after apologizing they said they would send them the next day.

Sunday:
I called her in the evening. No flowers, no call. My wife called FTD again and the woman said she was sorry and sent a message but got no reply. They would be sending flowers on Monday.

Monday:
I got a call from FTD telling me I was getting my money back because the recipient cancelled the flowers. I figured my mom didn’t want to wait any longer. Later I called her and she said FTD called her in the morning and said they would be delivering later that afternoon. I told her that they called me and said she cancelled the order. She said ‘What? I would never turn down flowers!’ My wife called them back and was told my mom cancelled the order. (Fucking liar) After telling them that was not true the FTD person got shitty and started to argue about it. Next person to talk to was the supervisor. Same thing, they argued about it and was pretty much a jerk on the phone. No flowers are going to be delivered.

Tuesday:
I get an email from them:
