Obama has a history of using the office of president to butt his nose in where it does not belong. Look at his personal attack on Rush. Has there even been a sitting president that used his office as president to attack a private citizen before Obama? None that I recall, but I do have senior moments from time to time.

I’d have to look it up. It’s an interesting question (has a president attacked an individual). I’m not sure.

Rush is a pretty disingenuous monger of fear — I’m not sure the best outcome didn’t occur because he’s been pointed out as such.
