Interesting. The actual prop for the Syrian government is Russia, not Iran. Iran is a tangential player, not a primary player like Russia, which is supporting the Assad regime with significant supporting arms like tactical and strategic bombers.

Seems like Israel is on Putin’s side in this deal by attacking the minor Iranian assets in Syria.

Hmmm… Is Drumpf supporting Putin by pulling out of the Iranian deal to decrease the Iranian influence in Syria? That might not be a bad thing, but it certainly helps the Russians.
