Good for Juan. While he’s clearly on the left, he isn’t he typical, unreasonable, “we ought to put the government in charge of everything” liberal. Juan is the prime example of what CBS and NBC lack - the other side of the argument. Fox employs liberals and conservatives while CBS and NBC openly refuse to consider putting a conservative on air. ABC has George Will who routinely mops the floor with his Sunday Morning adversaries, but one conservative on air is clearly their maximum.

He completely sold out and publicly did so in a way that has primed him to be a fire breathing GOP hack, while playing up the martyr to liberal group think card in a falsely reasonable and falsely persecuted voice. Help help, his stunt is oppressing him so much. It was a well choreographed sell out with a ready made tagline.
