This is how desperate they’ve become in the wake of the reality that Romney is a dud as a candidate. One poll actually showed that 10% more people were less likely to vote for Romney as a result of the convention than vote for him. He has to win over a minimum of 61% of the white vote to have a chance on Election Day. The party’s decided that this will come by working the wingnuts into a lather.
