In the meantime, back in fish country:

Two officers shot, one killed, serving a drug warrant

This happened mere miles from my ancestral home. The suspect also died in the crossfire and was discovered by the SWAT later. This is one of those times where my pro-police side shows; this was a small-town tragedy.

This part though…..Deputy Carl Koontz and Sgt. Jordan Buckley were shot while trying to serve arrest and search warrants for possession of a syringe.

A terrible waste of their time that lead to his death. :(
