At no point did I say (or intend to imply) that the whole thing was an honest mistake on Sanders’ part, nor did I say (or intend to imply) that the fault was 100% with the WaPo editor.

I expect politicians & their representative to split hairs and opportunistically jump at any chance to make their opponent(s) look unqualified, and I’m not the least bit surprised when they lash out at criticism (real or perceived) because no one runs for POTUS unless they’re ambitious and have a pretty large ego. I do, however, expect the media to at least try remain neutral—or at least I used to. Not anymore.

I meant no offense, wasn’t so much an attack on you as much as an expression of how fed up I am with Kessler. He has his moments, but most of the time he works as hard as he can to split enough hairs to maintain the “Both Sides” mantra.
