I don’t think I’d trust her to stay a Democrat. She strikes me as someone who, if any other Republican had received the nomination, would currently be writing very rah-rah columns for Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio or Paul Ryan — and if the Republicans go back to nominating standard country-club Republicans, she’ll climb back on their bandwagon. I’ll be happy to be proved wrong, of course.
