Sad, and it ought to make people angry.

However, this sentence in the tweet is misdirected, I think:

I suspect someone in the military would not have actually killed the young women.

The ICE agent who shot her is just another in a long run of gun-happy agents at the border. Not all of them are. Yet under Trump there is now an atmosphere that is very troubling, where Trump is encouraging his supporters and other Americans to think about “others” as less than human.

That’s the worst thing Trump has done. He’s dehumanized people who just want a better life.
