I had an argument with my parents about the kneeling when it occurred. My dad’s a Vietnam veteran, and while at an abstract level he gets freedom of speech, he’s can be one of those “making people uncomfortable doesn’t help” types.

What frustrates me is how the kneeling was turned into “they disrespect the troops.” Kap got the idea to kneel from a former Green Beret and Eric Reid comes from a military family.
