Even more disturbing than Joe’s bigotry is the editorial staff at “Christianity Today” thought defending the slur “queer” was fit to print.

I think it’s a commonly used term in the gay community.
Queers for Palestine come to mind.

but in the context JTP used it , it was definately a slur.
