re: #126 Christopher H

The two photos were realised as part of a set, and the other photos clearly seem to show the Turkish activists helping the Israeli soldiers:One; Two; Three

So, the two photos in question here were apparently doctored because they don’t fit the above narrative, and such doctoring is obviously inexcusable. Its hard to say that those knives were found in the first aid kit. But don’t let this distract us from the otherwise highly equivocal nature of the photos, taken as a whole set. They simply do not “prove” that Israeli soldiers was set upon by the activists without provocation. In fact, as you all probably know, numerous eyewitnesses, having since been released, now claim that the IDF fired first before boarding, and that this was the initial aggression

We’ve had numerous discussions about the various accounts and the evidence for various claims. Photos one and two that you link must be new, I hadn’t seen them.

However, regardless, we’ve talked about the fact that the ship clearly had different groups aboard, and while the IHH mercenaries were being violent top-side, others better intentioned may have taken control of the situation inside the ship. It’s all speculation, but points have been made on LGF.

None of it excuses the cropping of the photos (as you state in your post)
