If I were Jewish, I’d be really skeptical of Christian fundamentalists who claim to support Israel. It seems not to come from any great love or respect for the Jewish people but a perverted religious feeling. I consider myself a supporter of Israel for largely secular reasons. Israel is a secular democracy that treats its women, gays & lesbians, & other miorities with dignity. They’ve also been a strong ally throughout the years. I don’t like those who attempt to make “Zionism” in to a bad word.

That the other thing too. Israel is very progressive in many respects and a complete opposite of the American religious right.
