Oh, cool! Y’all will enjoy that!
We saw “Dralion” years ago.
I had seen it on video, but in-person is so amazing.
Because I had seen it on video, I was aware, at one point, of an error made in one of the routines, where the performer missed the jump he was supposed to make.
HOWEVER - the performers had a choreographed plan to coverup and regroup in order to re-do the part where the error occurred - and it was done so beautifully, and so seamlessly, the folks I was with didn’t even know an error had been made.I was awe-struck at the professionalism and attention to detail, down to having a choreographed plan ready if needed because of a mistake in the routine, to cover it up and continue to entertain without the audience even being aware of an error. It was amazing.
May I suggest, as someone who know, the “missed jump” was probably as rehearsed as any other part of the act.
Watch this video of a absolutely amazing Cirque act… The Wheel Of Death… the “mistake” he makes during the jump rope segment is made at every performance. (It’s 8 minutes long, put worth the watch)
