Really, I am no fan of the right either but the conditions that led to the anti-Jewish pogroms in Russia had festered up for centuries. I can’t see anything like that happening here. Not to say that Anti-Muslim extremism isn’t a problem in our country- it is but this comes off to me the same way that Mark Levin claiming Obama’s going to go Mussolini the next two years.

I think there is a very ugly undercurrent of scapegoating by US RWNJs, and such scapegoating notoriously has no limits on how bad it can get. However, the country thus far is not really going for it politically.

Thus the threat of RWNJ pogroms in red states in the next two years is zero because of political realities imposed upon RWNJs, as opposed to any real restraint on their part.
