So apparently the new Zoolander is just awful. Leonard Maltin said it was the first film he’s ever walked out of before it finished and my brother said it makes you want to punch the screen.

It’s not an iron-clad rule of mine, but my leeriness about the quality of a sequel to an apparently standalone movie is directly proportional to how long it’s been since the first installment.

It has served me well.
