I am not surprised by those actions. Ever since the uncouth one was elected, politics on the local level has become very local. There is little if no mention of national political activities. I think at the grassroots level many Republicans are going to support Democrats for higher offices in an effort to try to get rid of the embarrassment that resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
