No, we cannot. Cutting Medicare and Social Security by 10% is not something voters would want. Nor would I be willing to cut the funding of the Marines while they are at war, nor the funds of the FBI that protects us from terrorists here at home. I’m sorry, but your proposal is fatally flawed.

Sorry, but do you seriously think there is not 10% pure WASTE involved here?
Martin Gross has gone over the books and suggested we could cut 25% from the gov’t funding And Never Miss It for nearly 20 years.
Agreed, medicare and SSoc are “golden cows” for now - SSoc will see drastic cuts a/o ‘means testing’ well before I’m “eligible”
Yes, keeping us safe at home is one of the ‘Constitutional’ duties of the Fed, but funding the additional purchase of planes / vehicles / armament that the Pentagon has specifically said they don’t want, just because the plants that make ‘em are in your district, in MY mind could be cut.
Just sayin’..
