I don’t think he was a Stalinist FER REALZ, he was just an extreme attention whore who pushed the envelope until the ricin spilled out.

It was the logical end of his rhetoric that equivocated Russian treatment of Chechens with American Indians and other atrocities in a royally screwed-up application of the Magical Balance Fairy.
