Listening to the press conference on Otto Warmbier—the student who just returned from North Korea in a coma—on thing is clear. The Obama administration’s strategies for dealing with captured Americans have earned a lot of criticism, probably valid. I wonder what could have been done differently. Warmbier’s father is saying that things only changed once he went on Tucker Carlson’s show and Trump got involved.

Or maybe NK just didn’t want to have to take care of an American in a coma.
