Too bad they don’t get active in calling out the others. Leading a quiet life is sort of being like a radical centrist: By ignoring what is done in their name, they give silent assent to it.

Do you really think most “silent Christians” would give a crap if the country ran off Muslims, Hindus, atheists, &c, or would they only give a crap when the loud Evangelical portion of Christianity comes after them for not being sufficiently pure?

The problem isn’t that Christians don’t call out others. The issue is that it isn’t considered newsworthy and so is rarely reported by the media. I’ve discussed this with numerous high ranking clergy and they say no one is interested in publicizing the pushback.
