As long as he is accepted by a larger portion of R voters? Nothing. At least is the primary season.
There doesn’t seem to be a line he cannot cross with them. It is the base of the R party.
Which is the same problem that fucked Romney in 2012. He had run WAAY to the right to win the nomination then desperately scurry back to the center to try and win the General. Some of the right wing nutjobs bailed on him because they thought he was a RINO and few independents were swayed by his newly centrist stance on the issues.
