Reminder: BeachDem lives in a state just as red as yours.

But it’s on the coast, so I guess it doesn’t count.

And I live really close to the beach, so I’m even more elite than most!

(and once the primaries are over Dems never set foot in this state.)

Again, I say that the national orgs are not going to give money or much support to red state Dems until those states do the work to build the party on local and state levels. It has nothing to do with coastal elites or looking down on mid-country (I dare not call them flyover) states.

You gotta do the bottom up work to get any attention from the top.

Now, I have my own beef with some of the national orgs (the DCCC even more than the DNC), and I don’t give them any money, but I work to help our local candidates with time, money, fundraisers, etc. They usually don’t win, but you have to start somewhere and that’s how you have to do it.
