I’m of the opinion that the terrorist bust should be big news because of who the perp is and who his targets were, the fact that this administration has both rhetorically and through their own actions dismissed right wing domestic terrorism as a priority for LEO. Smollett is an ass but this is much more important and the guy’s ideology is definitely relevant here too.
