if they make you violent, as the R’s have been saying for what?, 20 years or so, why arent they passing legislation to restrict the hell out of them? they’ve had enough time

They suggested such during the 90s, but were stopped when the video games industry established the ESRB and began regulating themselves by putting ratings on the boxes. Hence why most of those “violent video games” have prominent markings that they contain violence and are not suited for children.

Meanwhile, the gun industry’s approach to self-regulation…is suggesting that you buy a .22lr for your kid to get him started earlier.
