Can I go totally off-topic for a minute?
This evening, as we do every Weds., hubby and I joined about 6 other couples for dinner at a local restaurant. We eat at a different place each week, this gives us a chance to see friends and also encourages the local economy.
This will be the last time we attend.
Two couples who we go out with stole from the restaurant. Not out and out, swipe a plate kind of stealing. A different kind.
Both couples ordered meals, including the salad bar.
They never ate their main course, and never intended to: they made a few trips to the salad bar for their *dinner*.
They then asked for to-go boxes and took the dinner home with them.
These are wealthy people, by my standards. They own a few homes each, several vehicles, the best vacations, and all are retired.
I am sickened by this behavior.
Please have mercy on us!

How did they avoid paying for the meal if they ordered it and then took it home?
