Kind of a weird question. Muslims in general don’t have extremist sympathies. Some supporters of Israel might be ‘israel-first’— like Israelis.

How are you defining “Israel-Firster”? That’s a big part of the problem here.

The biggest similarity there is “Israel firster” and “extremist sympathies” are both very poorly defined.

Well, I’m referring specifically to the guy at the MSA in ProLifeLiberal’s post.

It seems like a bit of labeling to jump straight to “extremist sympathies” (which has a long and recent history of anti-Muslim prejudice) in the same way that Killgore rightly objects to “Israel Firster” as being anti-Semitic labeling.

So I am wondering if he has any thoughts on whether it would be a good idea to back down from “extremist sympathies” (and emphasis on someone’s apparent non-American-ness) in the same way that backing off from “Israel Firster” is a good idea.
