And why I don’t drink CA wines and I’m not really a wine snob since I drink only what tastes good to me. The Riesling must be from Germany until I’m told differently, and I’ll pay more since I don’t drink it that often. Even the cheap, ordinary French red table wine I bought in NYC was better than this lot.

Most of those are supermarket wines—Barefoot, Sutter Home, Glen Ellen, etc, and often on sale or featured.
