Yep. I remember talking about the movie with DD when it was still filming. it sounds fascinating. A lot of people do not know about the secession movements that happened within the CSA and that the CSA itself hypocritically put down. Hell the reason why the state of West Virginia exists is because of that.

East Tennessee is also a right-wing hotbed despite how they were treated by the CSA.
