I see that Cory Gardner doesn’t seem to understand what the role of Congress is within our constitutional system:

Sen. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.), another vulnerable incumbent up for re-election next year, also voted against the resolution. He said in a statement after the vote that he stood with Trump because “in the absence of Congressional action, the President did what Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer refused to do.”

Congress acted, Senator. You were there for the votes. Congress considered Trump’s proposal for a wall - multiple times - and decided each and every time that they did not want to authorize building a wall.
