That’s not to say I think LBJ using the n-word liberally was okay. It was NOT and I specifically know about my Dad’s father who was from the same generation as LBJ scolding his children when he got them using the word.

My wife was just in an apologetics argument on Discord with a Muslim who claimed to be from Pakistan. Fair enough, as there are lots of Muslims in Pakistan; no particular reason to dispute that.

After over an hour going back and forth, said Pakistani stated that “an atheist ‘denying God’ is proof you are a ni*CLANG.”

Islam has a few different words for “unbeliever,” but that one isn’t one of them. She just pointed out “and that’s why I’m not religious” and left that conversation.
