OT: What’s up with David Brooks?

David Brooks: A Republican senator put ‘his hand on my inner thigh’ for a ‘whole’ dinner party.

I’m curious. For one, Brooks claims that this man had his hand on his inner thigh throughout the dinner. Why didn’t he express his displeasure with that? More importantly, how did the other man eat if this was a dinner? With one hand? Something doesn’t add up.
