I’ve often said that every competent band has one truly great song in them. Some have more than one; many never find it. Jeremy was that moment for Pearl Jam.

I was never “into” grunge as such. I was from western Wisconsin and the Minneapolis scene (The Replacements, Husker Du, Urban Guerrillas, Soul Asylum, etc.) was the best to me.
