Problem is, the bullying was politically based.

In OK, I had a clown walking by the Dawah table at the Union say (I was having a political discussion with a friend) that the NAZIs were liberal because Socialist was in the name. In addition to the gay-bashing and other events that brought me to Islam. Including a council event you guys might have heard of.

To be fair, that belief isn’t too uncommon, and I once held it myself. I no longer do, though. Hitler doesn’t fit into a ‘left-wing’ template, though he doesn’t fit the Goldwater-Reagan American conservative mold either. But his appeal was more to the fears and beliefs common on the Right, so Far Right is the correct place for him.
