Not being gun-savvy, I have to ask—just what, exactly, is a “low-powered rifle?”

I had the same question.
Low power is my 7.62x51NATO (.308) with an 800yd range and high powered is a .338 Lupua with a 2000yd range I guess.

Media is clueless when it comes to firearms.
