Bless his boss, who arrived and handed my husband his cell phone so we were able to talk briefly. He sounded tired and congested, both of which are to be expected since he hasn’t slept and was developing a sinus infection.

The CT came back normal, but they are doing a lumbar puncture and keeping him overnight as the last check. Hopefully the meetings he went over there for can be rescheduled. He’s feeling fine enough to be freaking out about how much this all will cost (it looks like we will owe just on the overnight hospitalization, from what I have been able to find, and that should be reasonable).

So now I get to research the aftereffects of a lumbar puncture and e-mail him some info about what to expect so that he doesn’t look for himself and freak out more.
