Two top aides being indicted will cast a pall across the entire administration.

Five or six aides under indictment? Lamest of all lame ducks. His cult followers might not think much of it, but the ‘reasonable middle’ will be disgusted.

Every Dem campaign ad will contain some variation of the words ‘scandal-ridden Trump administration.’ Don’t underestimate that.

Every Democratic campaign from now til the end of time should cast the GOP as awful - that they denied Garland a vote, are busy seating extremist judges whose views are out of even mainstream GOP consideration, and are busy gutting the safety net so that rich people get bigger tax cuts.

All the while, the GOP refused to stop Trump and his cronies. The GOP enabled Trump to run roughshod over the Constitution and federal law. They refused to hold his admin accountable for violating all manner of federal law and the Constitution. From refusing to revoke security clearances for perjurers/liars like Sessions and Kushner to constant violations of the Emoluments Clause.

The entire Trump admin is a poster child of what happens when people don’t vote or fall for the both sides are bad or that someone with no actual experience is now facing multiple crises (many of his own making) and can’t handle any of them.
