It all reinforces my belief that our society is caught up in some sort of Reality TV fantasy with delusions of being on Jerry Springer’s show, with constant familial back-biting and gossiping, all trying to hurt the other at whatever cost.

As for me, I can’t keep up with all of this action. I’ve withdrawn into the simpler (hah!) task of looking for an unknown grandfather with a supposed but not confirmed name, a supposed marriage for which I can find no record, and a daughter (not my mother) who seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth 82 years ago, which, if I could locate could possible settle the whole issue.
