Personally, I think it’s more like Idiocracy than Brave New World.

My take on the GOP goal is mainly Idiocracy, with a few bits of 1984 thrown in to spice things up. If nothing else, Brave New World is too rational and planned to satisfy the howler monkeys of the GOP base.
